This was a proof of concept site I made while at GMMB. I took some social media graphics a coworker made and wanted to express the data in a more interactive experience.

Often times, statistics don't have the same effect on paper as they do animated. Seeing numbers move isn't as effective as seeing people move.

This is how you create a student body. The combination of flat design with a subtle shadow created compelling characters.

The final result was a site that was presented to Gates Secondary Education team to be used as a foundation for future animated sites. This was also used as a proof of concept for our other clients.
